Overview
Participant Engagement Insights is a new analytics feature available to Accredited Providers on Clickability.
It gives you real-time visibility into how participants interact with your profile — helping you understand your digital reach and the awareness Clickability generates for your business.
You can view this screen by logging into your provider account and clicking "Engagement insights" on the side navigation bar.
What You’ll See
Each time a participant visits your profile, you’ll see:
📍 Approximate location – estimated city and country based on their internet connection.
💻 IP Address - internet connection that was used (this has been masked for privacy and security reasons.)
💻 Device – whether they used a mobile, tablet, or desktop and the operation system used.
⭐ CPC/CPM EST. Value (Engagement value) – an estimated score showing which actions are most meaningful (e.g. phone calls are higher value than social clicks).
🕒 Time of visit – when they viewed your profile.
These insights help you understand how participants are discovering your services, how often they engage, and which channels drive the most activity.
How to Use the Dashboard
You can filter your stats using the filter dropdown at the top or clicking on the boxes below your analytics summary:
Profile Views – See how many participants have visited your profile.
Search Appearances - How many times your business was shown in the directory.
Direct Connect Clicks - Each time someone clicked the direct connect button
Website Clicks – Track traffic to your own site.
Phone Number Clicks – View how often your phone number is clicked to reveal the number.
Email Clicks – See how many people clicked to email your business directly.
Social Profile Visits – Track clicks to your Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn pages.
Each action is logged in real time, helping you understand trends and engagement patterns over time.
Clicking each of these boxes shown below will filter the results above, along with the "Filter by" dropdown
How We Estimate Location
We use something called an IP address to estimate a visitor’s location. Every device connected to the internet has an IP address from its internet service provider. Sometimes this can be shared between multiple people and devices, such as in offices.
Using this, we can estimate their city and country, but never their exact address or identity. All data is handled securely and displayed anonymously.
Why It Matters
Many participants visit provider profiles before they make contact — browsing, comparing, or gathering information before submitting a service request.
These insights show you:
How often people are discovering your profile
Whether your marketing is driving awareness
The balance between profile views, phone calls, and website visits
How your presence on Clickability supports your overall business visibility
It’s an easy way to connect your online engagement with real-world enquiries.
Privacy and Data
Clickability takes privacy seriously.
We do not share personal information or participant identities unless they complete a service request and you opt in to receive the details for that specific request.
All analytics are aggregated and anonymised.
Location data is approximate only (city or region, never exact).
-
Data is collected in line with our Privacy Policy.
Example
You notice five profile visits from “Brisbane, QLD – mobile device” followed by two phone clicks.
This indicates that your profile is gaining visibility in that area, and your listing may be driving calls directly — even if those visitors don’t submit service requests through Clickability.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I see who the participant is?
No. Data is anonymous and designed to show engagement patterns, not personal details.
Q: Why can’t I see location for every visit?
If a participant’s device or network hides their IP address, we can’t estimate location. These visits will still appear without a location tag.
Q: How often is the data updated?
Analytics update in real time, so new visits will appear almost instantly.
Q: What should I do if I notice lots of visits but few service requests?
That’s valuable information! It may mean participants are interested but not finding enough detail or reviews. Try updating your description, adding more services, or asking recent clients to leave a review.
