When participants search Clickability, they’re searching for specific services. For this reason, we created Service Offerings, where you let participants know what services you offer – and when and how you offer them. In this guide, we explore how you create Service Offerings.
1. Go to Service Offerings
Please log in and go to your dashboard, then select ‘Service Offerings’ from the menu as shown below. Select ‘Add New Service Offering’ to create a new one or select an existing one if you simply wish to edit. It’s always a good idea to regularly update your Service Offerings.
Please note that a Service Offering can only feature one type of service; if you want to add lots of services, you will need to add a Service Offering for each. The number of Service Offerings you can create is dependent on the pricing tier you’ve chosen.
2. Begin completing Service Offering details
From the ‘Select your service’ menu, please choose the type of service you deliver, followed by a short description of that service. Keep this short and punchy.
For a summary of what each service means on our platform, please visit our guide on service categories explained. It's easy to digest!
We then ask you to let us know some service-specific details, including how the service is delivered (group, telehealth, you go to them, they go to you, online, etc.) and the age groups it supports.
Please note: if you select telehealth, you won't be able to select any additional delivery methods; you will need to create another Service Offering.
We also ask you to tell us if the service is offered in languages other than English. You can select as many languages here as you wish. We have lots of participants from diverse cultural backgrounds, so this is a great way to ensure you connect with those participants you’re able to support!
3. Let us know where the service is delivered
We don’t want to connect you with participants outside your own service areas, so we ask you both where you deliver your service from and where it’s available. What’s the difference?
We ask you where you deliver your service from so that we can show your service on our directory map, a useful tool that helps many participants visualise where your business is. Please note that you can hide this address if you wish, with our platform instead placing a marker in the centre of the suburb you provided.
We ask you where your service is available to precisely match you with participants when they submit their Service Requests. For instance, if a participant says they need support in postcode 4000, and you’ve noted you work within this area, we’ll connect you, as along you match other criteria.
We use a feature called SA4s to do this (Statistical Area Level 4). These are large geographical areas that encompass a whole lot of postcodes based around population limits (More Info).
So, how do you know which SA4 to select? Scroll to the bottom of this page and select 'SA4 Geographical Area Finder' (as shown below). Enter your postcode as prompted to reveal the relevant SA4 and select that SA4 in the locations.
To change the state, please note that you can select states on the left-hand side of the 'Where is this service available?' section. In the example below, we've clicked on Victoria, which then displays all the SA4s in that state.
You can also view the exact boundaries of these areas at https://maps.abs.gov.au/ then select 2021 Statistical Area Level 4 (SA4) from the dropdown at the top right.
4. Add/save your Service Offering
Once your Service Offering is created (or edited), scroll down to the bottom of the screen and select ‘Add Service Offering’ (or ‘Save Service Offering’). This ensures it will go live.
5. Check what the public sees
You should check how your profile looks! (Excellent, I bet.) To do so, please navigate to ‘See Provider Profile’ at the bottom of your dashboard on the left-hand side.
6. Switch your Service Offering between active and inactive
Clickability lets you easily promote services that have capacity. Sometimes, you might want to turn a Service Offering to inactive and create and promote another Service Offering; other times, you might want to turn a Service Offering back to active. Whatever it is, it's easy to do!
Under the “Service Offerings” tab, you can select any of your Service Offerings to edit. Select any of these and you will see a tab on the top right of your screen, as shown in the below screenshot. Simply toggle between inactive and active, depending on what you want. If it's inactive, it will appear grey as below.
Please note: to switch your Service Offering to active, you will need an address. Go to Section 3 above to refamiliarise yourself how to do this quickly and easily - and remember that you can hide it if you wish! You will also need to select 'Save' at the bottom of the Service Offering.
