How Provider Rankings Are Calculated
Provider rankings on Clickability are based on a combination of signals designed to reflect trust, quality and activity on the platform.
The two main factors are:
Engagement signals, especially recent positive reviews
Accreditation tier, which adds additional weighting
No single factor determines ranking on its own. Providers on lower tiers can and do outrank higher tier providers when they have stronger engagement and more recent reviews.
The Importance of Reviews
Recent reviews are the biggest driver of your organic ranking.
Clickability places the strongest weight on reviews from the past six months. When you receive new positive reviews, your listing can move up the directory quickly.
Regular reviews help:
Increase your visibility in search results
Build trust with participants and families
Show that your service is active, responsive and delivering good outcomes
Providers who consistently collect reviews tend to maintain stronger and more stable rankings over time.
Using the Reviews Toolkit
To make collecting reviews easier, we have created a ready to use Reviews Toolkit.
It includes:
Email templates
Simple scripts
Shareable links and guidance
You can access the toolkit here: 🛠️ Reviews Toolkit
Using these resources regularly can make a noticeable difference to your directory position.
How Accreditation Tiers Influence Ranking
Clickability offers three accreditation tiers:
Starter
Accreditation Plus
Enterprise
Providers on higher tiers receive additional weighting in directory rankings. This is an added value for businesses who want to get more out of their Clickability accreditation.
However:
Accreditation tier is not the only ranking factor
Strong review activity can allow Starter providers to outrank Plus or Enterprise providers
Rankings are designed to reward quality and engagement, not just plan level
The strongest results come from combining an appropriate accreditation tier with ongoing review collection.
Ranking Transparency
Like many digital platforms, including Google, Clickability does not publish its exact ranking formula.
This helps:
Prevent manipulation of the system
Ensure rankings remain fair and participant focused
Continuously improve how we surface trusted providers
While the precise weighting is not shared, the key drivers are clear: recent reviews, engagement and accreditation level.
