To ensure you have time to review the request before another provider accepts it, we've introduced a Reserve feature. (This replaces the ‘Accept’ button.) This Reserve feature will hold the service request for you for 60 seconds, giving you time to view the request, confirm the location and that you have capacity, and review any additional requirements.
Starting in mid-August 2024, there will be a dialog box shown after you select the ‘Reserve’ status. When this pops up, you will need to wait 30 seconds before you can accept the request (by selecting 'Accept' as shown below).
You will also need to confirm that the location, demographic and NDIS information is suitable by clicking the YES button after each. After the timer goes past 30 seconds, and YES is selected, the accept button is unlocked for that request. You will have another 30 seconds to accept the request, before the request is then released for other providers to accept.
